My name is Ameriquin Dalmasy-Laccetti and I am the Spanish teacher at Saint Ann School for Pre-School through 8th grade. I was born in the Dominican Republic and immigrated into the United States after graduating Rider University (Business Administration) in 1990 and 1992 (Masters in Business Administration).  I have been teaching Elementary and Middle School Spanish for 18 years. 

The goal of our Spanish program is to introduce our students to the Spanish language and culture, to enable communication at the beginner level of the language, and to incorporate audio, visual and kinetic lessons into the Spanish classroom to suit all types of learners.

It is important and part of the Diocesan Curriculum to give the students a taste of what the Hispanic countries as well as all countries of the world, cultures are like. That is why we create many opportunities to teach fun cultural lessons during "Hispanic Heritage Month", "The feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe", "Christmas Around the World", "International Night" and "Cinco de Mayo".  Please watch out for announcements in the Parents Information section in this website that will alert you of these fun activities!

Homework is posted in the classroom homework whiteboard, and 5th-8th on Google Classroom.
