Dear parents and students,
My name is Ameriquin Dalmasy-Laccetti. I am the Head of School and I teach PreK 3-4 Spanish.
I came from the Dominican Republic at 18 years old to study at Rider University. I studied Business Administration and also completed my Masters in Business Administration there. I started teaching Spanish on 2001 and fell in love with teaching. After 22 years of teaching in the Diocese of Trenton, I have moved into an administrative role in the school, and here I am today.
I have been at Saint Ann School since 2013. When I came to the school I was asked to create and implement a Spanish Curriculum. It has been fun and a personal source of pride for me to see how the program evolved and grew.
I have been married 31 years to my husband Mark and we have 3 daughters. All of our daughters went to Catholic school just like I did. I love sports and I am still quite active. I was on the Dominican National swim team for many years and came to the USA with an NCAA swimming scholarship. I also love to go to the movies, and read books and I am a Summer person!
Matthew 6:34 "Do not worry about tomorrow; tomorrow will take care of itself. Sufficient for a day is its own evil."
Welcome to Spanish class, la clase de Español!!!.
Prekindergarten students will have one 40-minute period class a week with me.
Our goal is to introduce our students to the Spanish language and culture and to enable communication at the beginner level of the language.
You can reach me at alaccetti@st-ann-school.org should you have questions. Stay safe and may God Bless you and your families!
Hasta pronto!
Mrs. Laccetti
