You may have noticed a new sign added to the second parking spot on the right side of the parking lot (as you face the school). This spot is reserved for all school hours and events! At our Volunteer Breakfast, we raffled off this dedicated parking spot, so we ask that you please keep this spot open for the person who has earned it each month. We will hold the next raffle at our Volunteer Breakfast in May to choose winners for next year!

If you know you are unable to fulfill your Volunteer Hours throughout the year, you can select to buy out your hours early. This was noted on your school contract. If you selected the buy out option, you have until September 30th to pay the $250 ($10/hour for 25 hours) buy out. If you do not pay by September 30th, you will be charged $20/hour for any Volunteer Hours not fulfilled by June 1, 2025. 

We have several events and fundraisers that cannot run without the support of chairs to help oversee them. Individual events and fundraising chairs have the guidance from the appropriate PTA Board Member to make the event a success. Click here to see the list of available positions and to sign-up to help!

Mum and Corn Stalk Sale
Even though it's hot now, fall is just around the corner. Get your decor out of the way by ordering mums and cornstalks, while supporting our PTA. Orders are due by 9/18/24 and you will earn $3 per item purchased towards your financial commitment. Click here for more information and the order form! Cash Bingo
Join us for a night of fun and a chance to win over $1,500 in prizes on Friday September 27th! Doors open at 6:00pm and games begin at 7:00pm. Grab some friends and play the night away or knock off some volunteer hours by helping us out! Used Clothing Drive
Our Used Clothing Drive will be held on Friday September 27th (12:00-8:00pm) and Saturday 28th (8:00am-12:00pm). You can drop off bags of clothes any morning that week (9/23-9/27) during drop off too. Help others as you help yourself! We accept clothing, bedding, stuffed animals, hats, linens, belts, and shoes! Every student who brings a bag of clothes to donate will receive a free pass to wear their favorite hat to school on Thursday October 3rd! Charleston Wrap
One of our biggest fundraisers of the year is with Charleston Wrap! Not only do they have adorably cute wrapping paper, but they also carry a variety of other gift options like: candles, totes, kitchenwares, purses, candy, and more. While this fundraiser officially runs in November, you are able to order online starting now. Ordering early will help to minimize the risk of items you want from selling out. Important Deadlines
Virtus Training
A requirement of volunteering within the school or at school sponsored events (think Room Parents, Book Fair, Ice Cream Social, Field Trips, etc) that do not involve parents is being Virtus Certified. You can find all of the details and signup for your training here!

Pretzel Day
A longstanding tradition at St Ann's are the beloved pretzel days! Sign your student up and one day per month they will receive a warm Philly Pretzel and drink for a snack, instead of packing their own! All pretzels MUST BE preordered. There will not be any extra pretzels ordered. Orders are due by 9/11/24.  Click here for more information and the order form!

Art Cover Contest
Students have a chance at having their own masterpiece featured on the PTA Directory, as the PTA Social Media Profile Photo, on the school lobby TV, and much more. Submissions are due by Monday September 16, 2024 to Lauren Figueroa, c/o Jack Grade 5. Click here for the rules and more info!

Athletic Updates
CYO We have a great opportunity for our children to participate in CYO Athletics including: cross country, basketball, cheerleading, soccer, and track & field. This program cannot run without the generosity of volunteer coaches. If you or someone you know is interested in coaching, you want more info about CYO, or to sign up your student for a team, click here!

If you have not signed up for our PTA text alerts, be sure to do so. Just text your name to (609) 928-7271 and we will get you added. You should have received a text this week, so if you didn't, be sure to text us so we can make sure we have the right number for you. 

You can expect to receive a detailed email monthly (sometimes maybe 2x/month) that will cover a lot of what you need to know for PTA related things.
