NEW at SAS! The Harry Potter Club - October 8, 2024
A spin of the Readers are Leaders Club, the "Magical Marauders" will meet every other Tuesday at recess and will dive deep into the Harry Potter Book #3. Club members will also engage in Harry Potter-related activities such as drawing, board games, and movies. At the first meeting, attendees will be sorted into "Houses". Houses will compete against each other during games to collect as many points as possible.

Book Club "Readers are Leaders" - 10/1/24-6/3/25
This book club is available for students in grades 5-8. It meets every Tuesday during lunch/recess (11:20 am-12:00 pm). Members will vote on what book to read and will read one or more chapters over the week, then come together to discuss and participate in fun activities related to the book. The club focuses on encouraging creativity and interest in reading in our students.

NEW!!! Service Society Club - ACTIVE - 24/25 dates TBD
Come and use your knowledge and faith to serve others as Jesus did! In this club, SAS students will have the opportunity to participate in service projects to benefit our community at large: Meals on Wheels, Pet Pantry, Homefront Winter Clothing Drive, and more. The club comes with NO fees and it will meet on Mondays during recess. Check back for dates and registration form.
Legion of Mary Club- Every Wednesday in Oct., Feb., May
Join us as we pray the Rosary and pray before the Blessed Sacrament in Adoration. Help us make a difference in our community through prayers with the intercession of Mary, Mother of God. Club members will learn how to pray the rosary correctly & discuss the Word of God. They will also have the opportunity to make their rosaries! This Club is open to students in grades 2-8 and will meet every Wednesday in October (starting 10/2), February, & May from 2:30-3:45 pm (*subject to change–parents will be notified as soon as changes are made). Saint Ann School Choir - ACTIVE
Saint Ann School Choir is a school-year-round club that meets on Wednesdays from 2:30 pm to 3:45 pm. The Choir is a service club that provides leadership for singing at school Masses and some other events held at the school., such as the Christmas Pageant, Diocesan events, and the Spring concert. The Youth Choir is open to Saint Ann School students in grades 4th through 8th. A desire to sing and a willingness to use God-given talents to serve and praise the Lord are the only prerequisites. Drama Club - ACTIVE - March 2025 Production: The Wizard of Oz
The drama club is open to students in 2nd through 8th grade. It provides an opportunity to learn about theater, perform on stage, and work behind the scenes. Managed by parent volunteers, the club usually stages a production every spring. Every student who desires to perform is given a part. If you have any questions please email [email protected].
Spanish Club (Spring) - ACTIVE - Spring 2025
SAS's Spanish Culture Club for students in 6th-8th grade is back! In Mrs. Laccetti's Spanish Culture Club students will be learning how to interact in Spanish in different social settings and will benefit from the exposure to the Spanish language and culture. The club will meet in SAS Spanish Room. For 6 weeks, students will come together at SAS and participate in fun & engaging activities related to ONE topic: “Going out to a Restaurant”. At the last meeting, students accompanied by Mrs. Laccetti will be going out to a Spanish restaurant where they will order their own food and will interact with the restaurant staff in Spanish! The cost of the club is $50 & includes copies of the vocabulary booklet, their last class meal at a Hispanic food restaurant, and class snacks.

Girl Volleyball Club - ACTIVE - 24/25 Dates TBD
Saint Ann School Volleyball Club is for girls in grades 6-8. Students will be working on improving their volleyball skills, and learning teamwork and cooperation while instilling a love for the sport, and having fun! The cost of the Club is $25 (includes knee pads and afterschool snacks) or $15 (includes afterschool snacks only). The club will meet in the school gymnasium. Yearbook Club - 8G Students ONLY!
The club will open during Spring 2025 and is an eighth-grade privilege club: only 8G students are able to participate. Students will choose a theme, take photos, do digital design, and collaborate with their classmates on the making of the 24/25 yearbook. Student Leadership Council
Student Council is open to students in 6, 7, & 8 grades. Its mission is to create a strong and involved school community. It works to enhance student life, build school spirit and pride, strengthen the overall school, and contribute to charitable causes in the community. Students are selected to be part of the Student Council by their peers through elections. Once elected, representatives from 6 to 8 grades take leadership of the student body and work to represent their concerns and opinions to school administration.
Student Ambassadors
Student Ambassadors is a leadership opportunity for students in 8th grade who are dedicated to serving and representing Saint Ann School during school events. Student Ambassadors are required to assist during Open House tours, serve as SAS representatives, and perform duties during various SAS events.
Student Ambassadors are supervised by Mrs. Laccetti & Ms. Palumbo.
