Dear Saint Ann School Parents and Loved Ones,

My name is Darren Basich and I will be St. Ann’s new Dean of Academics. 

I have been a teacher and a coach in public schools for the past thirty-three years.  My goal was to move to a Catholic school when the time was right.  By the grace of God, the timing has led me here to St. Ann School.  It is an honor to be a part of your child’s growth in education and with God.  
 I have a Bachelor's degree in education from Slippery Rock University.  I also have a Master's degree in Educational Administration from Gwynedd Mercy University.  

I enjoy fishing and hunting and I enjoy traveling to anywhere that allows me to do those things.  
I am truly blessed to be a part of your school community and I look forward to working with you for the betterment of all the students here at St. Ann School.
