Hello! My name is Dayna Panarello and I am the new guidance counselor here at the St. Ann School. I received an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from the University of Hartford and a Master's degree in Social Work from Monmouth University. Last year I was a substitute teacher at SAS for art, music and covering teacher absences. Prior to that, I  substituted in the Ewing Township District for a period of time which then led me to a para-professional position at the Lore Elementary School. Lastly, I was a school social worker/case manager at the South Amboy Elementary School where I oversaw students from pre-school-fourth grade.

I've been married for 16 years and have one daughter, (14) who just started high school at Notre Dame in Lawerenceville. We are also owners of a German Shepherd and a rabbit. In my spare time I enjoy reading, exercising, baking, going to the beach, traveling and spending quality time with friends and family.

From a young age I knew that I wanted to work with children and their families in a school-based environment where I'm able to ensure that ALL students are receiving a great educational, social and emotional experience as well as meeting all their individual unique needs to make them successful in the years to follow.

It is a great joy to watch them grow and develop their own independent talents and gifts that have been instilled upon them.   I am very excited to be a part of the St. Ann School Community.
