The process of applying to and selecting the right high school is sometimes a stressful time. All students are encouraged to visit school campuses, take a shadow day, and make a decision (with their family) based on where they most felt the feeling of being welcomed. All parents and students are encouraged to speak with me regarding any questions or concerns.
Each family is responsible for obtaining the correct admissions documents, initiating filing electronic applications, completing required entrance exam/placement tests, and obtaining recommendations.

Catholic High Schools
Catholic high schools typically have earlier admission deadlines. All transcript requests and Principal/Guidance Recommendations should be given to the main office. Teacher recommendation forms should be given directly to the teacher for completion.
 
Independent Schools
Area independent schools (Hun, Lawrenceville, PDS, Peddie, Pennington, Stuart, etc.) accept the SSAT Common Application. Students pursuing admission to independent schools are required to create an electronic application, most schools use the Standard Application Online (SAO) and register to take the SSAT online. Transcript requests and recommendations are sent directly to Saint Ann School via email by SSAT.
 
Public Schools
I encourage you to reach out to the high school guidance office for information and to schedule a visit. Typically, no action is required on your part until later in the winter or early spring.
