This year is going to be very different for all of us and I am here to help you get through it! As a school counselor, my primary responsibility is to promote the academic, career, and social/emotional development of ALL students. I look forward to offering support to the St. Ann students, staff, families, and community. During the school year, I will be meeting with students individually and in small groups, conducting classroom counseling lessons, meeting with parents, collaborating with teachers and staff, and consulting with community organizations to benefit the needs of all students. I am here to advocate for all of my students. If you have any questions or concerns please call or email me at any time at 609-882-8077 EXT. 215 or LBreslin@st-ann-school.org
From my high school years as a day student at George School, I knew that I wanted to be a school counselor. I completed my Bachelors in Psychology with a minor in Religion from Temple University. From there I completed my Masters in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in School Counseling at Holy Family University. At Holy Family I completed my dissertation on Oppositional Defiant Disorder and Restorative Practices and passed the National Counselors exam. As a counselor, I have worked in a variety of settings from private, public, and now Catholic, as well as a variety of age ranges from elementary school to high school before ending up here at St. Ann.
My husband Shane and I love to travel and have been visiting baseball and football stadiums all over the country in an attempt to see them all! We have a one year old little girl named Kerry and a newborn girl named Brigit! We also have our two other "children," Belle the Frug (french bulldog pug) and Brie the Bug (boston terrier pug).
