On Wednesday, 05/15 Saint Ann School held its annual Blue & Gold Field Day, one of the most anticipated days at Saint Ann! Students and faculty were assigned to their team (Blue or Gold) and engaged in fun games of competition stressing the importance of sportsmanship, teamwork, and communication. Grades 4th to 8th participated in fun and challenging activities from Badminton to a relay race to the Fitness Challange and soccer matches. Preschool to 3rd-grade students played games like Duck Duck Goose, the Parachute game, a scavenger hunt, and kickball. The highlight of the day this year was by far the Dunk Tank where our principal, Mr. C, and social studies teacher, Ms. Shields demonstrate what being a good sport truly means! The day started with a pep rally in the school gymnasium where our P. E. teacher Mr. Venanzi reminded the teams and teams' captains that the final outcome of FIeld Day depends on good sportsmanship by everyone, and concluded with the closing ceremony and the celebration of the winning team: way to go Gold!!
