Additionally, I wanted to find ways to give our students different opportunities that would match better with their varying ages and grade levels. For these reasons, I felt a change was needed... Greetings Saint Ann School Families! Wednesday we completed the first full day of school. Students and teachers have brought a lot of energy and life to the building. Definitely, something I miss during the summer months. As we near the end of the first week, here are a few things I'd like to share with you. The opening school Mass is this Friday, 09/06 at 9:30. Please note we have changed all the school liturgies to 9:30 to allow for our preschool children to attend. Preschool begins on Monday, 09/09. I am excited to announce that Katelyn Liepins has signed on to be the new Art teacher. She brings a variety of experiences and is excited to join our teaching staff. She will begin on Tuesday, 09/10. Unfortunately, we are looking for a PE teacher. Mr. Venanzi just informed me that accepted a full-time position elsewhere. I have begun the search and will continue looking until a replacement who is a good fit for our students and school community is found. Current and new families are able to get alerts via text message. If you have changed cell numbers or are a new family all you need to do in order to begin receiving text messages is text Y or Yes to 67587. Uniforms!!! Through the voices I’ve heard of uniform difficulties. If you have experienced issues, please bring them to my attention. I am only able to assist if I know of the problem. I’ve had a handful of people discuss their concerns and am working with Lands’ End on resolving them. Being a new system there were expected hiccups. Again if you have any issues or concerns regarding uniforms or anything else please let me know so we can work together to find a solution. God Bless, Salvatore Chiaravalloti Principal
The 2019 St. Ann School Readathon is coming to an end. We've done very well with our readathon this year, with $3760 already raised online. However, we'd hoped to raise more so we've decided to extend the deadline to Friday, September 13. This will give people more time to participate and the chance to get closer to our goal. So ready, set, keep reading!
