Welcome to 7th and 8th grade Language Arts! My name is Suzanne Melillo.  I have taught middle school Language Arts here at St. Ann School for five years. 
I am married and am the mother of three boys, ages 15 - 21.  I know middle school VERY well and I LOVE this age group. It is a time of great change and with that change comes great challenges.  My mission is to not only teach Language Arts but hopefully give my students the insight, knowledge, and confidence to succeed as they enter high school.  After two years with me, they will have not only have been exposed to great literature including both fiction and non-fiction titles as well as various other sub-genres but be able to analyze it, write about it and discuss it too!  They even surprise themselves as they leave our close-knit halls and go into the whole new world of high school!
